Western Pneumatic is ready to respond quickly to your requirements. We offer a 38" wide slitter and a 12’ long shear backed by well selected inventories of stainless steel, titanium, high strength and corrosion resistant nickel alloys, and other materials in sheet and coil form. This allows us to react quickly and efficiently to produce any diameter and thickness with minimum lead times.

Customer options are extended by the capability of two powerful press brakes. 300-400 tons of forming pressure with 22’ of available forming space provides substantial abilities to our customer base. Employing a wide selection of dies and all the techniques and skills of 54 years of experience, our operators can form blanks from most ductile metals and alloys in diameters from 3/4" to 10" and in wall thicknesses from .006" to .150".

Welding is fundamental to all production techniques. Certified welders operate equipment designed by Western Pneumatic to produce tubing with precision and integrity. The GTAW welding process is capable of welding titanium, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other weldable materials efficiently and consistently.

Our three available redraw benches allow us to draw, size, and shape our tubing. All benches are hydraulically powered for flexibility, and have the capability of redrawing tubing from 3/4" O.D. to 5" O.D. and in wall thicknesses, depending upon diameter, from .016" to .125".

Other equipment essential to redraw operations includes vapor degreasing, acid cleaning tanks, and equipment for trimming, polishing, and finishing of tubing to our customer's specifications.

An open, seven-barrel, ambient atmosphere, natural gas-fired annealing furnace supports the redraw mill. Most materials, excluding the reactive alloys, can be annealed with sufficient time at temperature to develop required mechanical and corrosion-resistant properties.

Product integrity and the assurance of that integrity are essential in the diverse and critical market applications of Western Pneumatic's products. Surveillance begins with certification of raw materials and is maintained throughout the production cycle. X-ray inspection confirms weld quality, and other nondestructive testing and destructive examination follows until completion. Final certification is issued by our laboratory which reviews the orders in detail for compliance to our customer’s specific requirements.
